Matt Thomas is a professional basketball player who currently plays as a shooting guard for the Utah Jazz of the NBA. He was born on August 4, 1994, in Decatur, Illinois.
Thomas played college basketball at Iowa State University, where he was known for his excellent shooting ability. He went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft but signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors in 2017.
During his time with the Raptors, Thomas showed promise as a sharpshooter and earned a full-time contract with the team. In 2020, he was traded to the Utah Jazz.
